The Film

Why markets actually move.

The House

One standard. Two programs.

The Philosophy

Most retail traders are learning a version of trading that was never designed to make them successful.

They learn how to react to price — but never how to understand it. At MAISON YR, trading is approached through macroeconomics, institutional positioning, liquidity, psychology and structured execution, because long-term consistency comes from understanding how markets truly operate.

01

Most traders never learn what actually moves price

Price is driven by macroeconomics, liquidity, institutional positioning, interest rates and capital flows — not isolated patterns or random signals. The MAISON YR framework was built around understanding those deeper market dynamics first.

02

Technical analysis alone is not enough

Charts matter. But most retail traders learn technical analysis in isolation — patterns, indicators, setups — never how to connect them to the broader financial environment driving price underneath the surface. Here, technical execution is combined with macro, liquidity and structured reasoning.

03

Institutions leave footprints in the market

Banks, hedge funds and institutional participants cannot move massive amounts of capital invisibly. Their positioning impacts liquidity, volatility and long-term direction — leaving measurable footprints. Members learn to identify and understand those flows instead of emotionally reacting against them.

04

Consistency comes from structure

The biggest difference between profitable and unprofitable traders is rarely intelligence. It is structure. Risk management, emotional discipline, controlled execution and consistency under pressure separate long-term traders from short-term gamblers.

05

The goal is independence

Markets evolve. Conditions change. Narratives rotate. Traders who rely on external signals struggle the moment the environment shifts. MAISON YR develops traders capable of understanding markets independently — reasoning, structure, adaptability. The objective is not dependency. The objective is understanding.

The Free Door

Two chapters of the Macro School are already open.

The Macro School is twenty-one written chapters — the macro layer, taught the way this desk actually reads it. Two of them sit open in the free Lobby. Whole chapters, start to finish, exactly as members read them. Not samples. Not teasers. No card and no call to book — you make a free Skool account and you are reading.

01

Chapter One — The Regime

Before a chart means anything, you have to name the environment you are standing in. This chapter runs gold through a war to make the point: the same asset, carrying the same label, behaving in opposite directions twice. Read it and you will stop asking what an asset "is" and start asking what regime is live.

02

The VIX — The Price Of Fear

What the volatility index is actually quoting, and how to read it as a number instead of a mood — including the divide-by-16 rule, the 2018 volatility unwind traced step by step, and why a spike and a slow grind higher are two completely different messages.

The Founding Advantage

While the Program releases, active Floor members receive every chapter as it goes live — the full $4,000 Program, included at the Floor rate. The founding rate is $199/month and it locks for life. It ends on 24 August 2026, midnight Los Angeles. After that the Floor is $347. Founding members never pay the difference. Once the Program is fully released, the included-chapters advantage no longer applies to new members either.

The Redemption Arc

Same thesis. Posted both times.

USDJPY short at 163 — stopped for −1R on 28 July 2026, catalysts named publicly the day it was posted. The desk didn't hide it, and the thesis didn't change. When the BoJ shifted 8-1 and the joint intervention landed, the same short paid +14.83R on 3 August 2026. The loss was posted before entry. So was the win. That's the whole point of the record.

Receipt Nº 51 — USDJPY sell, closed 3 August 2026, +14.83R, posted before entry

Said plainly: past results do not guarantee future results. Hard months will come, and they will be reviewed with the same transparency. The framework is the product — not the streak.

"The goal is not that you follow. The goal is that you become independent."

The Integrity Rule

The desk keeps receipts.

A trade counts on this record only if it was posted before entry, or called live with members watching it happen. Zero advance notice means it does not count — winners included. Every receipt below is a real desk post, dated, and every one of them matches a row on the monthly report card above — same pair, same result. Wins and losses, eight from the album:

Receipt Nº 03 — USDJPY sell, closed 30 April 2026, +10.05R

Receipt Nº 48 — EURUSD buy, closed 30 July 2026, +2.5R
Nº 48 · EURUSD · 30 Jul 2026+2.50R

One thing the album cannot do is flatter the record: it holds fewer trades than the record does. Trades called live inside a Zoom session never reach the public feed, most break-evens were never screenshotted, and the earliest months were barely photographed. The wall understates the book — which is the direction an honest record errs in.

MAISON YR. The record goes public.

April 2026 — the house opens, and the standard becomes public: every trade posted before entry or called live, every month reviewed on camera, wins and losses, in percent. Four months in: +176.30% across 90 documented trades. The two largest single trades inside that record, right here — USDJPY on 30 April, the day the Bank of Japan intervened, taken in two legs of +6.5R and +3.55R; and AUDCHF on 22 July, a two-month range-break thesis trailed out.

The Story

Football. Banking. Markets. MAISON YR.

A filmed version of this is in the cut. The written one is below, and it is the same story.

I started football at three years old. I left my parents' house at twelve to pursue it, and turned professional at sixteen. The game took me across the world — France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, England, the United States.

I started trading at sixteen, while still playing. I joined a trading course in Belgium — in person, a full year. It was technical analysis only: charts, patterns, indicators. After that year, my account was up and down — mostly down. That failure taught me the most important lesson of my career: charts don't move markets. The macro does. Every market is correlated — stocks, forex, gold, oil, crypto — and there is always a reason price moves. The course never taught me the reason.

So I went to find it where it actually lives. I studied economics, earned an internship at a bank, and became an analyst — the person who reads everything impacting markets and feeds it up the chain to the traders. Then I became a trader for the bank. Then I left to trade my own capital.

Since then, trading has changed my life. I've generated over $5M in trading profits — and I've never touched that capital. Not once. My capital compounds toward one goal — generational wealth — and my lifestyle is funded elsewhere. Never from the trading account.

In 2023, still playing professionally, I was diagnosed with arthritis in my ankle. Doctors told me to stop. I didn't listen. Five surgeries later, the ankle still hurts, the arthritis isn't leaving, and the level I played at isn't coming back. Last year, I retired. Football had been my life since I was three years old. Losing it left a hole.

Then a major US trading platform reached out and asked me to become a mentor. I started sharing my trades there — and understood something quickly: giving people trades will never make them independent. Signals don't build skill. What builds skill is the reality of trading — how banks trade, how institutions trade: fundamentals first, macro first, knowing why price moves before you ever touch an entry. That became the new passion.

Seven people came in before there was a house to put them in. I worked with those seven one-on-one, around the clock, for months — while building the platform that could carry the standard without me standing over it. MAISON YR opened publicly in April 2026, and the record went public with it. Then I closed the door again: not because it wasn't working — the quality was there from day one — but because there was still no structure to scale it.

Now it can — and the door is open. The goal has never changed: make you financially free and independent in your trading. Teach you to fish. That's the house.

— Yanis Rucquois · Founder, MAISON YR

Built by a practitioner. Designed for serious traders.

Yanis Rucquois
Founder & Lead — Institutional Trader

Institutional trader and macro investor specializing in Forex, institutional positioning, liquidity dynamics and macroeconomic market behavior. Trained as a bank analyst feeding the market desk, then traded the bank's capital, before going independent. Yanis built MAISON YR after recognizing a fundamental disconnect between how most traders are taught to trade — and how markets actually function underneath the surface. Every trade on the desk is his, posted before entry or called live. Every month is reviewed on camera. The house carries one voice and one standard.

Common Questions

This is not built for most traders.

MAISON YR was built for people who want to understand markets professionally — not consume random signals and hope for the best.

01What actually makes MAISON YR different?+

MAISON YR is not built as a content business. It is built as a professional trading ecosystem. Every part is connected: the Course, the live sessions, the macro reports, the trade updates, the psychology work, the community structure and the execution process. Nothing is random. Nothing is based on hype. The objective is to develop traders capable of thinking independently in real market conditions — not traders dependent on someone else forever.

02How much does it cost?+

The YR Live Trading Floor is $199/month — the founding rate, locked for life for as long as you stay. That rate closes on 24 August 2026 at midnight Los Angeles time; after that the Floor is $347/month, and later $497. Join before the deadline and you keep $199 — founding members never pay the difference. The Complete Institutional Program will sell separately at $4,000 when complete — while it releases, active Floor members receive every chapter, included. Cancel anytime. No call required to join.

03Is there anything I can read before I pay anything?+

Yes, and it is not a teaser. The Macro School is twenty-one written chapters, and two of them — The Regime, and The VIX — sit open in the free Lobby, complete and unedited, exactly as members read them. The public receipt album and the four monthly report cards are in there too. No card and no call — you make a free Skool account and you are reading in under a minute. Read the two open chapters →

04Is MAISON YR beginner-friendly?+

Yes — but it is not beginner-minded. The program starts from the foundations: market structure, execution, TradingView setup, risk management and macro basics. From the beginning, members are progressively introduced to macroeconomics, institutional positioning, liquidity, central-bank policy, execution discipline and the psychology behind professional decision making. Complete beginners follow the curriculum step by step; advanced traders usually realize quickly they were missing the structural side of markets entirely. New members start with "Your First 7 Days" — an exact roadmap — and two clear paths depending on whether you're brand new or already trading.

05Why do most retail traders fail?+

Because they learn trading backwards. Most retail education focuses on indicators, patterns, entries and social-media setups. But price is moved by central-bank policy, liquidity flows, institutional positioning, interest-rate expectations, macroeconomic shifts and large capital-allocation decisions. Without understanding those forces, traders spend years reacting to price instead of understanding why it moves. MAISON YR was built specifically to solve that problem.

06Is this a signal service?+

No. Trades are shared live with full transparency, but the objective is education and understanding — not blind copying. Every position includes macro reasoning, technical structure, risk management, execution logic, trade management and ongoing updates in real time. Members don't just see what is being traded — they understand why the position exists, what invalidates it, what confirms it, and how professional risk management is applied around it. Over time, members naturally develop their own analysis and execution process. That is the goal.

07What do members actually get every week?+

Daily market briefings before sessions open · every trade posted to the desk before entry or called live, with full reasoning and live management · a minimum of two live Zoom sessions per week — often more — plus the Sunday Market Room · weekly institutional-style macro research reports · monthly performance reviews with the full report card · chaptered session replays and archives · psychology and execution discussions · private community access. The environment is active every week — not a static course library.

08How important is psychology inside the program?+

Extremely. Most traders don't fail because they lack a strategy — they fail because they can't execute consistently, can't manage emotions, overleverage, revenge trade, panic in drawdowns or abandon discipline under pressure. Psychology is integrated directly into the framework: execution discipline work, emotional control, cognitive-bias awareness, journaling structure, routine development, and intervention from a stress-management specialist focused on performance under pressure. Trading is not only analytical. It is behavioral.

09How much time do I realistically need?+

Less than you think — and you should keep your job. Inside, "The Floor Around Your Job" gives you honest time-budget plans: 20 minutes a day (the morning briefing and the desk check) · 1 hour a day (briefing, desk, and part of a session or replay) · weekends only (the Sunday Market Room, the weekly report, and chaptered replays). Positions are held for days, alerts do the watching, and the sessions worth rewatching go on the replay shelf. The process adapts to your life, not the other way around. The important part is consistency — not speed.

10What happens during the fit check?+

The fit check exists to make sure the fit is correct on both sides. It's not a high-pressure sales call — it's 30 minutes to see where you are and whether this is your environment: your current level, your goals, your experience, your mindset, and what you're actually looking for from trading. From there we determine whether MAISON YR is the right fit, which program makes sense, and your best starting point. The objective is long-term alignment — not forcing people into something that doesn't fit.

11Who MAISON YR is not for+

People looking for overnight success, gambling, unrealistic promises, "100% win rate" systems or effortless money will not fit this environment. MAISON YR is built for people willing to learn seriously, think independently, stay disciplined and develop real long-term skill in the markets. That standard is what protects the quality of the ecosystem.

12Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. The YR Live Trading Floor is a monthly subscription with no long-term obligation. The Complete Institutional Program is separate: one payment, lifetime access. Most members stay because of the environment, structure and long-term progression — not because they're locked into anything.

13What exactly do founding members get?+

Two things. One: the founding rate, locked for life — $199/month, kept for as long as you stay. Two: the Complete Institutional Program's content, included as it releases — once the Program is fully released, that no longer applies to new members. The founding rate closes 24 August 2026, midnight Los Angeles. After that the Floor is $347. Founding members keep $199 for as long as they stay. That is the whole mechanism, said once, with a date on it — there is no timer on this page and no seat counter, because the house announces a change rather than performing one.

The objective is not another trade. The objective is understanding.

MAISON YR exists to bridge the gap between retail trading education and the realities of professional market participation. Built for serious traders. Not shortcut seekers. Join the Floor directly — you can be inside in two minutes. Want to talk it through first? The fit check is free, takes 30 minutes, and works both ways. Not a pitch. A fit check. And if you would rather read before you decide anything, two whole chapters of the Macro School are open in the free Lobby right now.
